Best TV couple evere

The very first TV couple which I fell in love with was Carrie & Big. She is beautiful, stylish, refind, adorable and... FUNNY! Yes, Carrie is incredibly funny. I'm not sure that guys like funny girls, actually rather on the contrary.   But I think when your GF has a good sense of humor that's awesome! So Carrie is beautiful, stylish, refind, adorable, funny; she is just perfect! Big is a man whom you can fall in love from the first sign. He's self-confident

Spring Breakers

Spring Breakers: wish you were here

Harmony Korine is an awesome director. Probably those who think that cinematography should tell us simple stories about ordinary people won't like him. Cause Korine's movies are shocking and obscure for most moviegoers. His imagination usually runs to the darker and dingier corners of youth cult. And his new Spring Breakers movie is no exception.
First of all it's about youth and it's for youth actually. I think it's also was the reason to invite popular teenage star Selena Gomez (by the way out of four girls Selena Gomez was shown much less than the rest).
So... here is a summary of a movie - fun-in-the-sun, bikinis, breasts, booze, drugs, sex, violence, Disney girls gone wild. But the director asks the question, 'Is it a dream or a nightmare?' And the thing I liked, Korine didn't give any answer, moral or conclusion to the audience. It's up to you, you need to make the choise.
As for the actors, girls are just nubile figures, look-alike blondes and naive brunette Faith. But drug dealer/swaggy macho//wannabe rapper is the best  James Franco's character for the moment. He's charming and disgusting at the same time. And his lascivious smile is hard to forget.

PS. This scene is awesome!

TALK TO HER

Talk to her: sometimes you just need to talk...

Talk to her is actually my favourite movie of my favourite director Pedro Almodovar  When I watched this movie for the first time, I lost  the sense of reality for a while. All the thoughts and infinite number of ideas were dissapeared from my head.

SKINS 7

Skins 7: from the group of optimistic kids who grab life by the balls to adults whose life is never easy

The longer series is running on TV, so much the worse it becomes. The same was with Skins. The first season blew my mind and I could hardly watch the 3rd season till the end. Eventually I stopped watching it. But Skins 7 is INCREDIBLE!!! The final season actually evened the score. It's much more "mature" and "adult".
Cassie's 'pure' story is my favourite. It's so stylish and beautiful. It can easily slot into an original movie.
Also I can not keep silent about the music, it's just inimitable. Music and Skins were forever entwined actually.

PARTY MONSTER

Party Monster: It's medication for my rapid cycling bipolar disorder...

For the last few days I listen to Marilyn Manson music over and over again. I always was fond of his bright characters, fancy photoshoots and insane but beautiful music videos. But I never was a fan of his music itself. Actually I can judge his songs only by ‘Eat Me, Drink Me’ album. Probably his real fans weren’t impressed by this album, but I liked it…
Why did I start this talk? While listening to Marilyn Manson music I was trying to remember when I’ve discovered him for myself. Surprise! Surprise! It was Party Monsters!
It’s one of a few movies which really impressed me. It’s one and half hour stream of pure insanity. Believe me, if you watch it once you will never forget it. Much of the film is dream-like: drugs, orgy of colors, glam, obsession, fame, cosmic music and crazy club life of New York City in the 1980s.
Actually it’s a tragicomedy based on a true story. The ‘club kids’ were a group of young people that were actually paid by club owners just to show up at their clubs. What was so special about them? It was their look.  These kids, these party monsters looked so bizarre and odd, so cosmic and weird that  people had their eye out for them. They were living crazy life, out of balance and full of drugs. As for the movie, there were used more than 1000 costumes. Many of them were given by the ‘club kids’, other were designed by Kabuki - the club kid himself. The main heroes took an enormous amount of different drugs during the film, but it was much more less than in reality.
Party Monster is also going to be remembered as notable, either because it marked the beginning of a new phase of Culkin's career or it brilliantly ended it. There were a lot of talks about it. Some said that Macaulay clearly was trying to leave his Home Alone type image behind him and looked ridiculous and unconvincing, other – that his acting was brilliant and unforgettable. I incline to the second variant. I do think that Michael Alig character is the most magnificent, dramatic and also the most  memorable one in Culkin's career.
To end it up, Party Monster is surprisingly enjoyable, bright, vivid and insane movie. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that this story and these people were real.

PS. Talking about Marilyn Manson, he took on his short, but fabulous and unforgettable role here. He played out of control transvestite Christina. He is really hysterical in this role. He personally brought his own false boobs, butt and wig for his odious heroine.
